Halloween this year. Poor Garfield. We had a couple of costumes to try on him. Personally I like the clown wig, but I don't think he did. He's always such a good sport- at least he appears to be. He might be plotting our downfall in the near future. Perhaps we'll just get him some special treats next year. 

Shhh! Be very quiet, Aurora's sleeping.

Aurora is so special she gets a picture all by herself. She was plum tuckered out after going crazy with her toys, I'm sure. The only way for us to tell the difference between her and Shadow is to look ate their faces. Aurora's nose has more orange and is a little fuller. All of the kittens at the time of these pictures are about 5-6 weeks old.

3 Little Kittens

These 3 are(from left to right) Shadowcat, Nick, and Rogue. You notice Rogue's orange streak down her face. She has her momma's coloring. She has little orange spots in various places and a couple of whitish-orange toes, too. She is easy to tell apart from Shadow and Aurora.

Garfield goes to Washington

Well, not really. but he does look pretty sharp with his bowtie. He doesn't really seem to mind being humiliated from time to time for our amusement. Although, I am sure, if we could ask him, he would decline, and perhaps tell us to get lost... except don't forget to give him his treats.

A lot of cats

We have 5 cats, all domectic shorthairs- tabbies: Garfield, Aurora, Shadowcat, Nick Furry and Rogue. Garfield is the elder cat, about 8 years old. The other 4 are all kittens- just turned 13 weeks old this week. Nick is the lone boy among the kitten siblings. All the kittens are named after Marvel Comics characters. Garfield, of course, needs no introduction.
